Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs Short Story Summary:
A pretty princess lived with a mean queen. The queen wanted to be the prettiest. She tried to kill Snow White but she ran away. Snow White lived with seven little men. The queen tricked Snow White with a bad apple and she fell asleep. A prince kissed her and she woke up. They lived happily ever after.
The king took himself another wife. She was beautiful, but proud and egotistic. Every day she stood before her miracle mirror and asked:
“Mirror, mirror, on the wall, Who in this land is fairest of all?”
To this mirror replied: “You, my queen, are fairest of all. “
One day, the queen’s mirror answered: ” You, my queen, are fair, it is true. Yet Snow White is a thousand times fairer than you. “
Green with jealousy, the queen told her huntsman, “Take Snow White into the woods. Kill her, and bring her lungs and her liver back to me. “
The huntsman took Snow White into the forest.
When he pulled his hunting knife she cried, “Let me live. I will never return! ” The huntsman let her go.
He killed a young boar, cut out its lungs and liver and took them to the queen to confirm Snow White was dead.
The poor girl began to run, and just as evening fell, she saw a small house and went inside.
There was a dinner table with seven little plates and seven cups, as well.
Snow White ate a little loaf of bread from each tiny plate and lay down on a bed and fell asleep.
The seven dwarfs found Snow White there and said she could stay if she kept the place nice and clean.
But the mirror told the queen Snow Whitte was still alive.
Disguised as an old peddler, she gave her a bodice lace and pulled it so hard Snow While could not breathe.
Soon afterward, the 7 dwarfs came home and cut the wide lace in two, and she returned to life.
Then the queen made a poisoned hair comb. Taking the form of another aged woman, she placed the comb into Snow White’s hair, and the girl fell down unconscious.
Thankfully, the seven dwarfs arrived home, discovered the poisoned comb and plucked it out.
Then Snow White came to herself again.
As soon as the queen heard this, she made a poisoned apple. Snow White hardly had a bite in her mouth when she fell to the floor dead.
The dwarfs laid her into a glass coffin and set off with it into the mountain tops. A prince saw them moving and immediately caught by Snow White.
He wished to be wlth her.
Just then, one of the dwarfs stumbled, and the piece of poisoned apple flew out of her throat.
Miracle of miracles. The girl gasped for breath and opened her eyes. The seven dwarfs gathered round about in her wonder, and the prince requested her hand in marriage.
She accepted and became his princess.They all lived happily ever after.
